Week 7 : Capture your life

Here is my entry about my montage. This is all the important events that happens to me. Since I was in high school until now. There are some memorable shots that I included in here. Because I was you guys who will read this and who look at the pictures that are very memorable for me. Most of this pictures is together with my family. Because I know that I should introduce them first to you. I have to many shots with them. And of course, my life would be boring without my beloved friends. Many of them are my high school friends. I also have a picture to my latest friends that I met now that I'm a college. 

Every event of our life, I should capture them one by one, because I know that I'll also share them with the next generation of ours. 

Week 6 : Sometimes dreams come true.

This song fit perfectly on me, because I'm just a girl who have full and lots of dreams. I decided to choose this song made by Jessie J which titled sometime dreams come true. Because I know that someday, i will definitely reach my goals. Each phrase on this lyrics are very meaningful. Although we are still young and we're not sure on what will happen. Lets all dream to the fullest and let each dream be real. Try and reach it.

Week 5 : Perseverance leads. Try and fail. But don't fail to try.

Every each of us fails. But does fail make you depressed? Sorrowful? And so down with it? Maybe yes, but don't you forget that failure make us know our own weaknesses. And knowing it will lead us to persevere, and make with our own strength to prove them that you have talent, and you know your role in this world. Aim higher with everyone expect on you. Prove them that you're worth it . 

Its not bad to admit you're mistakes. But make sure you would aim high and show them what  you're got. Don't get so down when everyone criticize your work, its part of our life, it part of our life to feel that kind of things in our heart, so that you would work hard and know your limitations. 

Let everyone knows that you have your own potentials and all you can do it is to PROVE. Show them that you are confident. Persevere and reach your goals. 

Week 4 : Insist upon yourself. Be original.

Plagiarism means imitating. Copy and pasting someones original work and was pretending to be done by you. Creating works that is originally made by yours, you can prevent plagiarism. So you must avoid this kind of things. I've already done this many times, but I know to myself that stealing other works wont lead me to success. There are many things that we can do to avoid it. 

And also, this plagiarism have many disadvantages. One, it would make you more sluggish to your usual stuffs. Two, it will lose your credibility. This make you not able to use your talent skills when it comes to thinking. For example, you have given a work, because you want it to be more cool and creative, you just copied someone's idea. And hurts others who did their best just to make it with their own creative ideas. 

Now, lets avoid plagiarism, lets speak up my mind and prove to the world that you have originality and not depending on other's work and ideas. 

Week 3 : Long Weekend

When we say "long weekend", everyone gets excited with it. But, does it have any effect on us? Yes. Just like, a little bonding with your family and friends. You just having a long time enjoying with them. But for me, its kinda bored. The whole day, its just like, 12hrs in front of the computer. Having something to entertain with like playing games, watching movie and sleep. And etc. Just  to kill time. 

But when it comes to the last day. Oh my. Its super "bitin" na. Because we and my family having gone shopping, not just because we're celebrating the "End of Ramadan" or the "Eid'l Fitr". But even that's so, its a nice experience between my family.  

And then after a few days of school. And its already weekend. And.. Back to normal. Having a stressed, bored but happy weekend.. 

Week 2. Buwan ng Wika

Buwan ng Wika is one of the big event in our country, and also in different school wherein you celebrate about our national language. Everyone have different experiences about it and one of this is in our school. The program were organized well by our beloved ate's and kuya's in different courses and colleges. 

Every college have assigned their own booth, and as well, we have the Cinema booth. Were you can watch different Filipino movies. Everyone of us participated to make our booth and I know that that was enough. 

And when the program starts. Everyone have their eyes on the stage especially when they start the "Ms. Lakambini" of the school. All of the contestants are gorgeous when they model our national costume. And until the end, we are having a good time in that event.

Buwan ng Wika have us to remember how important our language is. Everywhere we go, we should be proud of it. It helps us to communicate easily with everyone when have this kind of treasure.

Week 1. 1st Semester?

Every time I heard the word "College" it makes me

start to feel nervous, and mixed emotion. I'm scared

of entering my college life because I know this is

much different in High School. Its getting near. Orientation. On that first day, I already met new friends. At first, I'm getting a hard time to adjust with other people. But time passes by and we get more and more close to each other. And now. In this first half of semester. I might say that its very enjoying entering college, although there are so many stuffs to do, and stay focus on your study. There always be a time for us to get bond with each other. And that what I like the most about college. 

Many event that comes, and we enjoy it all together. Its not so hard to get close with each and everyone because they are all friendly and easy to get with. So that's one thing I love the most about this course. And also, all my 'ates' and 'kuyas' are very nice. They treat us freshmen students as a part of them. Even our professors. 

I know that it would be more and more harder for us, but we will do our best just to make it. 

Social Media

The Social Media is very important for every us. When they say 'media', the first thing came up to my mind is that this is an interactive form of communication using technology. This includes Internet, Social Networking and other text messaging that makes our communication much easier.

We communicate with other by sending some message or ideas with different form. Example of this is Facebook. Any form of communicating with your friends is here. Such as sending message ( though you should expect a delay feedback ) , instant messaging or chat ( which you can chat with your online friends. And the latest is the video chat. ( the more easier way of communicating where you can see the actual face of your friends ) these are only some example of how we communicate with other people. 

Does new media limit or expand our personal freedom? YES. Because through this, we can have other what exactly how we feel or rather they can feel our personal ideas by means of communicating with others. There are chat, blogging, social networking, bookmarking sites etc. that  our truly want is that they have to feel what are we trying to tell or explain to them.

Social Media Revoution

The first video we watched is about the sites the we most visited. Such as Youtube, this says that this is the 4th most visited sites, you can see all such different kinds of videos. Then, the Facebook, the number one social networking sites which have 300+ million active users. One of this is the Wikipedia, the top research sites. We can search different datas in this site, which helps a lot in our studies. And after I watch the first video, I realized that almost most of us were actually used this. And everyone of us would take so much hour in using the internet. 

Then, the second video we watch is about one businessman who build his own ice cream shop. At first, it becomes popular with his neighbor, and then, one they he found out that they also build their own shop. The businessman thinks some idea that's different from the others, such as making some flavors of the ice cream that make each costumer curious on how it tastes. One of these is the invention of the "pickled flavored ice cream". This story is about the cycle of each. Making some competition on their products. And to advertise this, they also uses some networking sites. 

Mediocrity VS Excellence

First, I'm not that quite familiar in this word. And so, I found some research about this. According to the dictionary, "mediocrity" means "ordinariness, averageness, commonness, common placeness, normality". And I got a meaning for this. Everyone of us, when were trying to do something, we actually didn't do our best and we just say "i'm fine with this". For me, that's traits is so wrong. In every challenge, we must do our best so that in the end, we would not get disappointed.

And the word "excellence" or state of possessing good qualities in an eminent degree. This is what exactly the opposite of excellence. In life, we must do our best to the fullest. Excellency is the best key to success. We must do the right in order to pass different challenges.

Mediocrity and Excellence, such an important word in our life. With this, we will definitely reach our goals into a success.

Future of Communication

After I watched this video. There are some things that I have in mind. Just like what will happened in the near future about the communication. Thus, this gave us that kind of idea of what will happen. 

Everyone cant predict on what will happen in the future, and example of this is the communication. As I saw in this video. "People become who they want, share the memories, experiences and feelings". Just thinking of a big thought about this line gave us such a wonderful meaning. 

But for me, I don't want this to be happen. I am now satisfied for what we have now. I'm not saying that I take disadvantages with this. But to know that communicating with everyone in such an easy way, and that would be good. But everyone of us have different opinion and that is what my reaction after I watch the video.

When I saw each and everyones video/presentation. I find it all so nice. But, i prefer kuya Andrew's group. I know that they use so much effort just to present that video. And return to them, it is so good. All they're members participate just to make it so beautiful. Their information are just fit with the live actions with a little comedy in it. And in the end. They just make and presented the most beautiful video. 

Traffic!

TRAFFIC! The most annoying word when it comes to road issues. But for me traffic plays a big role for me as a student. Just because its our part of our daily road life.When it comes to traffic, there are different signs that we need to follow. One of these are the traffic light. 

Typically traffic lights consist of a set of three colored lights: red, orange and green.

•Illumination of the red signal prohibits any traffic from proceeding.


•Illumination of the amber/orange light denoting, if safe to do so, prepare to stop short of the intersection.


•Illumination of the green light allows traffic to proceed in the direction denoted. 

But for me, Traffic takes some advantages like it lessen numbers of accident that usually done in road.

Graffiti Party =))

      Graffiti Party is so AWESOME. I think this is the first time I encounter this kind of event. I'm so glad that I become a part of this. Plus, this is a big event because they combined the Acquaintance Party for all the freshmen students. This is one of the happiest party.

     As you can see in this picture, all students in different department wore white T-shirt and signed by their friends. This night is so special for me, because I've met my old friends. Thus, it is so special to other freshmen students to get acquainted to each other.

    At the beginning of this party, many talented students shows their presentation, there are dancers and choir singers. And of course. My section. AB MMA 1-1. They present a short film. Let me share you this.

Lyceum of the Philippines.

The reason why I chose Lyceum, is because of the good facilities. And I know that they can provide me what I need as a student. And also they have this kind of course ( AB Multimedia arts ) which the other school didn't have. So I know that the next four years of me staying here will be good and I'm sure I will get the right job for me.The other thing is the students are not too many so I'm sure that the attention will be given equally by the professors.
